The Closing Ceremonies will end July 28, late in the evening (approx. 10:00pm to 11:00pm) at a location (Fort York) that is relatively further away from the hotels.

WIPCE 2017 CO-HOSTS:
Six Nations Polytechnic with TAP Resources and their sponsors welcome the world to WIPCE 2017 beginning Monday July 24, 2017 with over 5 days of programming. WIPCE will be an international showcase of Indigenous educational presentations and social cultural activities.
Day 1 – Opening Ceremonies will begin on July 24 2017

Consistent with WIPCE customs, the 2017 Opening Ceremonies will be based on the Host Committee’s traditional Onkwehonwe practices (Haudenosaunee) complemented with the welcoming practices and traditions of the Indigenous Nations of Kaiatari:io (Ontario).
Day 2 – Community Tours
7am - 5pm Departure time depends on tour
Choose from numerous distinct community tours for a day of experiential learning. All within a 1.5 hour radius from Toronto to ensure opportunities to visit the grassroot communities.
Day 3 & 4 – Young Leaders Stream
9am - 5pm Offsite
A two day youth stream designed by youth, for youth, with a leadership program that is experiential and interactive, focusing on self-discovery of one's authentic spiritual self, personal gifts, talents and passion revealed from within.
Days 3 to 5 – Feature Presentations, Presentations, Workshops, Ignite Sessions and Panel Discussions
9am - 5pm Metro Toronto Convention Centre
Participate in programming focused on partnerships, successes in Indigenous education, culture, and discussions on contemporary movements in education, training and employment.
Visit the Market Place comprised of artisans, traditional practices, and educational vendors as well as the Elder's Lodge where you have an opportunity to meet with Elders from various countries.
Day 5 – Closing Ceremonies will take place on July 28 2017
6:30pm - 9pm Fort York
Celebrate with us at the Closing Ceremonies hosted on the grounds of Fort York, the Garrison Common. A formal program of appreciation will be part of the closing ceremonies, including cultural dances, songs, and performances.
The WIPCE 2020 Host City and Host will be announced this evening.
